"Ryston Sports & Social Club was set up in 1960 for workers of Irish Ropes Factory. It has grown over the years and is now an umbrella body for sporting clubs within its remit, for example, Ryston Bowls, Ryston Pitch and Putt Club, Ryston Boxing Club, Ryston Pigeon Club, Ryston Taekwon-Do Club, Ryston Badminton Club, Ryston Bridge Club, Ryston Volleyball all of whom use the facilities available within Ryston Property. The philosophy behind our mission statement is that Ryston would, in time, become the hub and heart of our rapidly growing community."
